Acoustic comfort: a differentiating element in hotel establishments. Our company has participated in the drafting of the basic acoustic project for the renovation of a hotel, which consisted of, first, setting out the insulation needs so that the activity complied with municipal regulations against noise, second, presenting the global solution for acoustic insulation between rooms in the establishment itself, and third, drafting possible solutions for adequate acoustic comfort in the hotel. The property presented us with several architectural aspects to take into account when proposing an acoustic solution that revolved around the heritage classification of the building. Acoustic treatment in tourist and leisure establishments is essential for customers to feel comfortable. That the activity does not infringe municipal regulations against noise is essential for its correct operation; that the activity itself does not disturb its own customers is basic and necessary.
